Our visit to Carabelle, FL was unforgettable. The forgotten coast gave us the most beautiful sunrise and sunset views. We stayed at Ho Hum RV Park. A small, no frills campground but with views to die for. We parked right on the shore (well one row of sites away from the shoreline). It was incredible. There is just something about the crashing waves that is simply heaven. Nick sacrificed by eating many a frozen burgers so I could enjoy fresh fish. A trip to St. George Island and the state park was breathe-taking. The sand dunes, white sand beaches and cute little restaurants made for a nice little day trip. Lastly, a trip to Wakulla Springs got us up close and personal with the gators and manatee. The boat ride through the springs was so incredible. Hard to put into words. This is a stop that will be hard to beat in the future.
